Bantu Automotive Coatings is a small business which has been established to support the local OEMs with small to medium sized Plastic Painted Components.We are looking to expand and grow the Painting Operations, in a company that is 100% Black Owned with a
level 1 BBBEE rating
Our intention is to grow the business to enhance our capacity to support increased local content with
all major OEM’s and tier 1 suppliers.
The directors and staff have through many years of experience at OEM level identified the need for a
world class moulding and painting operation aimed at small to medium components, in South Africa.
We are further motivated to create employment in an environment where unemployment is at an all-time
high and excited in driving deeper localization by creating a successful South African story.
Company Background
B.A.C is owned by four young dynamic African directors with a passion for excellence and vision to grow
the business. These directors have identified critical and essential skills required for the moulding and
painting of components and have thus recruited suitably qualified personnel to take the organisation
forward.
The organisation has ambitions to grow in the next five to ten years into the Best Suppliers for
OEM within the automotive industry in South Africa and beyond. One of our’ goals is to grow our business
and create a South African story. We believe there are too many big international companies in South
Africa, and not enough South African companies with similarly large footprints.
As directors we have
aspired over a number of years to open a painting on plastics business. but could not secure business
because due largely to the fact that we did not have a plant installed. They have been working in the
Painting on Plastics industry for other First tier companies, and they bring a wealth of Painting
knowledge.
